About
Lyndi Smith
Lyndi Smith is a freelance writer and associate director of Mad Half Hour Theatre Company, based in the UK. In 1998 she was accepted onto the acting course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and raised over £26, 000 to fund her studies.
For the past ten years, much of Lyndi’s work has been with young people: in schools and youth theatres, with disadvantaged young people, or young people at risk of exclusion. She has performed in Hungary, India, at the National Theatre of Great Britain and has taught masterclasses in improvisation and Shakespeare in Luxembourg.
Lyndi grew up on the stage of the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry as part of the Belgrade Youth Theatre. Lyndi writes, directs and produces plays and still lives in the same house she grew up in with her two cats, Pawsy and Mr Dylan.
Free Degrees is her first published title. |
